    • Spike didn’t do much singing. He’s the guy on the left providing the raspberries. Sometimes he would add gun shots to the band’s arrangements. Really big during WW II and on into the 50’s. Also had a big hit with All I Want for Christmas is my Two Front Teeth. You have to be my age to remember Spike Jones.

  4. Great Georgia punters. Here are mine:

    1) The Thunder from Down Under – Brett Thorson was a field position weapon. He changed the Tennessee 2022 game himself. His kicking probably won the Texas game in Austin.
    2) Drew Butler – another Guy award winner. I still don’t get why he didn’t stay in the League longer.
    3) Jake Camarda – probably ran the fastest 40 by a punter at the combine ever
    4) Jones – 43.5 yards per punt in the 60s … that’s kicking the daylights out of it
    5) Bobby Walden – the Big Toe from Cairo. Another guy who probably would have won the Ray Guy in his day.

    Honorable mention: Cam Nizialek, Jonathan Kilgo, Chip Andrews, Cris Carpenter

    • We’ve been blessed with great kickers of the ball at UGA, both place kicking and punting. Been that way for years. I know Coach Hartman used to coach up the kickers, but we had great ones before him.
