I said return puts and kickoffs. Logan Gray was the best fair catch specialist in the business but I never considered him a guy who could get yards on put returns.

Fair enough. I was being facetious. That’s a pretty impressive stat from Preston to punt, kickoff, AND return both.
Joey Hester was the 3rd string qb as was Hines Ward.
Hester was a punter, not a returner. Good call on Hines Ward, but he returned kicks when he was a running back and receiver, not when he was quarterbacking.
