Jimmy played at Towers HS with one of my cousins. He and Andy Johnson made me a Bulldog with their sophomore year comeback at Tech. I met him years later. He was refereeing a church league basketball game near Northlake Mall; when he went to pick up his wallet and watch from the scorer’s table after the game, I saw he had a UGA Peach Bowl watch. I asked him if he played at UGA. He shrugged modestly, and said “a long time ago.” I realized who he was; he could not have been nicer or more humble. Sometimes, it’s good to meet your heroes.
my goodness after seeing these cards, it is apparent what steroids can do to the human body.
