  1. LOVE Fantastic Voyage. I even liked the cover by Coolio. You know, where he throws in life lessons like, “If ya cain’t take tha heat, get ya ass out tha kitchen. We on a mission.”.

    Also, I know passing wasn’t Buck’s forte, but 11/12 TDs and 9/9 INTs? AND HE WAS ALL SEC? Good on ya, mate.

    • Different game. Holding by OL was called and WRs could be decapitated legally.

    • So his 1 TD in 1978 was the 4th down pass to Amp Arnold in the Tech game? Helluva time to shine.

  2. Normally, I’d make some jerktastic comment about South Georgia QB’s get us our rings but remembered Y’ALL’S OC is from Thomasville so…

  3. May not have had the stats, but sure had some magical moments for the Dawgs. 1978 comeback against Tech. Gator Bowl, 1980. Seemed to hit a big pass when we needed it. Good leader.

    We had a jukebox in the basement of our frat house. We had the single “Bustin’ Loose” by Chuck Brown on it. We’d play it and sing “I feel like Buck Belue. Gimme the ball now!”

  4. Youngest daughter is getting married in NOLA in 2027. My playlist for the band @ reception is loaded with 70s/80s funk. Will have 100+ attorneys in attendance – hope their stuffy asses can catch my vibe!

  5. Buck had some moves but nothing like those guys. Reminded me of some groups l saw in the late 60’s and early 70’s. Buck is a DGD . Of course it didn’t hurt to have 34 in the backfield!!
