Not directly related to Dawgs, but I need to say that any umpire – especially a MLB umpire – that ejects a pitcher who isn’t playing and does so before the game should win the Penn Wager Arsehole Award.
Definitely had the vibe of Penn Wagers toward CMR in the way he went right to the ejection.
6’3″ 210lbs was quite the bruiser for back then.
