Good morning! When you’re reading this, I expect to be on my way to Panama City Beach on the trip we had to cancel last week. So, you scamps behave while I’m gone!
The calendar continues to roll slowly by and we are 12 days to go. Once the season starts, it’ll be over quicker than we want! And, we’ll be back to counting days again, sigh. Anyway, here’s card #112:

Mike Cavan = DGD!
Wrightsville’s population in 1979 and winter of 1980 was about 2,500. Legend is that Cavan became friends with every single one of them during his recruitment of Herschell Walker. Cavan’s wife and kids each deserved her and his own 1980 SEC Championship and National Championship rings for their sacrifice in giving up a Husband and Father for a year!
One of my favorite UGA legends: Erk clowning Cavan’s clocking of Herschel in the 40 being like a 4.1 or something lol
