Curt Cignetti, master of the 25 year olds playing a three game schedule, has something to say.
Wow, per the B1G, a notable game for Indiana, of all twelve they have to play is, wait, what?

Jesus Christ.
Anyway, the only people who have the SEC on their mind maybe more than the SeC itself seems to be the B1G.
You’ve won three in a row. Let it go, Elsa.
And do you think an SEC coach would like to have the Hoovers’ schedule for the upcoming season? Let’s take a look at this formidable gauntlet of a schedule:
vs N Texas
vs Howard
vs WKU
vs Northwestern
at Rutgers
at Nebraska
vs Ohio St
at Michigan
vs Minnesota
vs USC
at Washington
vs Purdue
Whining might be appropriate for anyone who wants to not really play their starters until the 7th week of the season.
Little bit of this POS will go a long way. One good year and he is best coach in the country. Just a smug dumbass. See if he can hold on to that win count. No sneaking up on anybody this time around. Hope he gets it handed to him a bunch, especially by some of those “easy” wins.
That isn’t a real Fucking football schedule, it is the path of least resistance…understanding most schedules are mapped out a year or two in advance, this is a 8 home games gits your team to the cfp….GO DAWGS!!
I really hope Kirby is keeping the receipts for all of this garbage coming from Chicago.
The worst part about it is it’s making me want Texass to take the Just for Men spokescoach and his Chase patched bunch behind an Austin woodshed.
I guarantee you Cignetti doesn’t want to see a focused Kirby Smart led bunch of Dawgs sometime in January. Tell him to ask Sark what that feels like.
They have a 6 game preseseason before they play a team with a pulse. The last 6? Ohio State is a good team. Michigan could be decent or they could suck again. Minnesota? Basically a bye week scrimmage. SoCal? Possibly decent. Washington and Purdue? Mediocre.
There are 3 solid b10 teams (ohio St, Oregon, Indiana), 2 average teams (Penn St and Mich). Pundits keep talking about SoCal like they haven’t been UK for 15 years. The rest? Mediocre to garbage. This is the FSU in the 90s plan. None of the top teams play more than a couple of the better teams, maybe 1 decent OOC game. Coast through the easy games. Be well rested and healthy for the CFP.
They have won 3 in a row. Ohio State is built like an SEC team. Michigan won partly by cheating, they seem to have regressed to their mean since then. Indiana? Great story, remains to be seen if it’s repeatable or sustainable. Oregon isn’t really a b10 team, but Lanning has built them like an SEC team. Maybe they break through at some point.
Saw a post on Twitter I liked, basically that national media has 2 CFB narratives: the SEC is great, or the SEC is overrated. But there are no narratives that fail to mention the SEC.
Until UGA wins again, we have to hear from the skeptics. If we win again, we can look forward to the skeptics scoff that we were lucky, and likely won’t ever win another.
FTMF.
What I don’t get is the whining part. Who was whining? Whining about a team having an offensive line of guys who are 25 years old? Sign stealing and cheating your way to a Natty? Buying a championship? That’s not whining, that’s simply stating facts. If applying logic and fact finding to an inexplicable national championship after years of being irrelevant is whining, then consider me a cry baby.
He’s a smug blowhard who just took the Alabama model of roster building and made it a public shopping event. Fuck him.
Also. Danny Kannell dick riding the b10 is as pathetic as it is predictable. I don’t understand people who say stupid shit just to inflame others. Either that know it’s stupid, and say it because they’re attention whores, or they don’t know it’s stupid and say it because they think it’s really smart. Not sure which is worse, but it’s a weird approach.
Kanell is a true idiot. It has become worse since FSU fell off a cliff.
Glad talking season is coming to an end. Let’s play ball and see who’s the best.
IU has a four game stretch where I think they will go 0-4.
@ Rutgers
@ Huskerz
OhioSt
Mich
And could drop two of their last four.
Cig, we barely knew thee.
Larry Nasser, Jerry Sandusky, Robert Strauss and Robert Anderson all taught to me that the Big Ten is the best… as in the best possible place to launch a career into sexual deviancy and predation.
And of course for decades this guy’s school’s leading sport’s ambassador was the poster child for self-discipline, maturity and self-control.
Damn near impossible to do, but this Dan Akroyd-looking MF is going to have me pulling for Ohio State to slap them around.
Same … I would love to see Ohio State go into Bloomington and smoke them.
