The Cretin of Sparty

Of all the buyout controversies out there, this might be one of the ugliest ones:

The accuser, Brenda Tracy, has now had her lawsuit thrown out twice by a judge so Mel feels like it’s time to get his just deserts. Mind you, Tucker is married, so I don’t feel like he’s going to get far with it, but I’m not sure what clauses were in his $95 million dollar contract about turpitude or embarrassment to an institution of higher learning (is there such a thing anymore?). Seems like an interesting hill to die on…but with that much money on the line, I’m sure there’s an attorney out there that won’t fault Mel for trying.

  1. While it seems likely he has been up to mischief there is no doubt in my mind that the swinging dicks at the top of the university want to avoid paying anything. I would say that if he had been winning conference championships or natty’s he would still be coaching and stuff would have been swept under the proverbial rug!
I am getting to be more of the cynic these days, but the suits at the top of these universities just disgust me. They paint themselves as so holy.

  2. He probably knows he won’t get the money but figures it’s a nice payday for him (and his lawyers) if he gets even a tenth of that amount.

  3. Now that Tracy’s suits have been dismissed and MSU is in a he said, she said position, this cries out for a settlement.

  4. I’ve always found this case to be very strange. They hired Tracy to educate the team about consensual sex vs sexual assault. Then she enters into a sexual r’ship with the married head coach. Then she claims sexual assault which costs the head coach $80,000,000.

  5. This is the same school that employed and hid Larry Nasser’s crimes for years. I hope it cost them every fucking penny

    • An anonymous orthographist? By the way, I see three “S”s in your spelling of “Desserts”
