Many of you got it right, though I had it wrong in describing Eric Zeier as a freshman (poor memories, sorry). Here’s a little bit of a highlight reel to enlighten your Monday of the day that Kirk Herbstreit learned to hate Georgia football.

Eric did often play like a freshman in 1992. Had he not had a sophomore slump we coulda been a contenda.
The team in Tuscaloosa won the whole thing with a freshman qb. They were a tad better than us on defense.
Hate that we missed out on seeing them in the first seccg in Birmingham.
I dated a girl from tOSU at the time. She & her whole family went to school there. They thought they were going to run us into the dirt. I reminded them that we don’t play Big 10 style football in the south. They thought it was a joke. I invited them to put their money where there mouths were. Ended up taking $500 from those clowns.
Didn’t we sack his sorry ass on the final play? My memory tells me that we did.
