Week Ten Mumme Poll – Snubbing the CFP

Hand to God, I totally forgot about posting the result of Week 9 last week. Apologies for that, though most of you saw Alabama and A&M as the eventual SECCG matchup, so there’s that.

This week’s bonus question is trying to think about which fan base will be crying the hardest on Tuesday night when the first CFP 12 are announced.

Vote today! MASH HERE

I could’ve scored here, but I didn’t want to. Nah-nah-nah!

Go Dawgs!

  1. I’m still giving love to teams that can make the tournament. Beyond that, who knows?

BTW, I’m not calling it a playoff because it’s just an invitational tournament. I also call it a “two minute warning” because that’s what it’s been for 50 plus years. Keith Jackson wouldn’t try to gaslight me.

  2. Will the committee place Notre Dame just outside knowing that the SEC will eat its own allowing them to get in later. We know a two loss ND is getting in just not how.

Indiana has played only three ranked teams in the last two seasons. They are 1-2 against those ranked teams. Yes they are destroying all their cupcakes. Their success with a cupcake schedule is causing lots of these head coaches their job. No disrespect to coach Cig just not a chance he could reproduce that in the SEC.

  3. It seems the one MAJOR issue that’s never considered with teams that play 10+ cupcakes a season is the cumulative effect on the players health. The size, strength & speed of players throughout the SEC is unrivaled & results in more violent collisions (and just more collisions overall) than any of these other conferences face. By the end of the season, SEC squads are always down multiple players & the ones that aren’t injured are basically walking wounded. Big 1? teams never have to deal with this. In case you can’t tell, not a fan of the nine game conference schedule, it will just handicap us further.

    • Also the opportunity to play all of the second and third teamers and get them good in-game experience…a luxury Clemson used to enjoy..as well as the things you said.

  4. Can’t believe we didn’t get on ABC this week, otherwise EVERY SINGLE ONE OF OUR CONFERENCE GAMES would have been on ABC this year, surely would have had to have been a record….

  5. I’ll put this here..
Thanks to all of you guys that built and are feeding us good reading on GTPR. Today’s content was heavy and made my morning!
