Inclement weather is impacting games across the SEC this weekend, including the SECCG for Softball, which was to be played today. No sweat, just reschedule and play it tomorrow, right? Certainly two top teams could handle a day off before slugging it out, so we could avoid some bullshit nonsense like a coin flip. What could be worse?

I’m sure if there was a richer revenue stream from Softball, the game would be rescheduled and played even if there was NFL football on tomorrow.

Apparently he received a call from Saban right before this announcement…prior to its release the original draft said “we don’t have time for this shit…”
When they have to travel 1000 miles it’s likely tougher to reschedule. This is a time when more means less.
