  1. A government official embellish? Holy shit, that has never happened before!

    • That’s what I thought when I heard that North Korea state tv said Dear Leader shot a score of 19 over 18 holes having 17 hole in ones in one round.

I was like “so?” You’ve totally got this.

  2. The 258,000,000 lives saved by Mein Fur Grabber totally makes up for the loss of your due process rights. You should be thanking him for keeping you alive and allowing you to bask in the glory that is MAGA!

  3. Welcome to this week’s episode of “The Boy Who Cried Trump”, where our demented host posts another bullshit piece of “news” from totally discredited sources. How discredited you ask? Well, 2 sources frequently linked here posted these gems over the weekend:

    https://twitter.com/i/status/1919072952122831107

Yes, CNN actually sent a “journalist” to Mexico to interview cartel drug smugglers to ask how they felt about being labeled terrorists by the Bad Orange Man. Please stay for his surprise answer.

Not to be outdone, AP jumped on the anti-deportation bandwagon with this fucking gem:

    https://apnews.com/article/migration-darien-gap-trump-panama-colombia-ba393b4cf8caecdcf24556f7f84be508

They actually want you to feel sorry for the poor people of Panama who made a living smuggling people through the Darien Gap and will now have to find another way to make a living. Trump has DEVASTATED their local economy.

How are people stupid enough to believe these news outlets are reliable, non-biased, straight down the middle truth tellers. But by all means, lets give full credence to this weeks outrage cause THIS TIME, its real. Swearsies.

    • Dude you know you are barking at the moon over a clip from a Comedy Show that hilariously points out the lack of “truthiness” of the current President.

      • Not sure what “Comedy Show” you are referring to, but after seeing the X post regarding the CNN piece, I actually went to CNN’s website to verify it. It’s still posted on CNN.com.
The AP story is also still on AP’s website. But I do agree that both sources are definitely comedy shows.

          • And my reply showed 2 links to actual “news” articles from CNN and AP sympathizing with the poor drug dealers and human traffickers. One side does comedy about stopping drug smugglers and human traffickers, the other side wants us to feel sorry for them. Try to keep up dude.

          • was supposed to read “one side does comedy about stopping drug smugglers and human traffickers and wants us to feel sorry for them, the other side is trying to stop it”. Still try to keep up tho

    • I totally agree that the voice of Attorney General Pam Bondi is a discredited source.

    • Do you get tired of defending this shit and spending your time coming up with the whataboutisms? They don’t care about you buddy. Daddy isn’t going to take you to the ballgame no matter how good a boy you are.

  4. President Trump has lowered the number of young women murdered on the UGA campus by Joe Biden’s illegal immigrants by 100%. But y’all don’t care about people like her do you?

    • Exactly! Only Trump cares about saving young women from illegals!

Too bad she didn’t die in a hospital parking lot from an ectopic pregnancy because doctors are too worried about going to jail as the procedure could be considered an abortion. Then yall wouldn’t have had to care so much about her no longer being here. She should have made better decisions right.

      • “ Rabanales-Pretzantzin is an undocumented immigrant from Guatemala who crossed the border in El Paso, Texas, in 2022.

He was caught by immigration officials and released into the US to await his immigration hearing.

It’s not clear how and why he ended up in Nassau County.”

“I want you to all think about this man should not have been in this country. This man should have never had a child in with him, in his residence. And what he did to this kid is unthinkable. Enough is enough. We got to stop this. We can’t have it no more,” Patrick Ryder, Nassau County police commissioner said.

Defend these fucks if you want, at least there are people trying to correct these wrongs now instead of the mendacious prior administration who purposely allowed these savages in.

  5. It’s cult behavior. Look up the most common characteristics of a cult. Excessive loyalty to the leader, black and white thinking, and a lack of tolerance for questions or critical inquiry are high on the list. Bondi is uniquely and astonishingly unqualified even in the room full of sycophants currently known as the Trump cabinet.

    • Is she recruiting/reinforcing allegiance among the rubes or is she sincere? Personally, I think its important to know whether its a knowing scam or whether these statements are a manifestation of insanity.

      • These folks are guzzling the kool aid. Take DOGE for example. Before he started Musk estimated he could save the government two trillion dollars. Once he got into various systems he revised that down to one trillion. As of April 23 DOGE was claiming 160 billion in savings. However, using the information PUBLISHED BY DOGE only 65 billion in savings are even itemized and of that only 32 billion comes with receipts. In other words, they can only PROVE they’ve saved 32 billion. Now 32 billion is a lot of money. But it isn’t anywhere near one trillion, 160 billion or even 61 billion. Trump, meanwhile, is claiming 200 billion in savings and says there is more to come.

        • I’ll make a bet:

They’ll buy the very next line of complete and total bullshit hook, line and sinker.

          And the next…and the next…and the next…

          • so sort of like Biden was the sharpest tool in the shed, but in reality….haha…talk about drinking the koolaid! you guys need to get your head out of your arse.

        • So let me get this straight, Paul… Trump cuts government wasteful spending by 165B in his first 100 days while Biden cost the American taxpayer 1.9 Trillion with the infamous American rescue plan in his first 100 days. what am I missing here? What world do you live in that believes any cuts in government spending is not a good thing.

          • I’m all for cutting government spending. I was addressing the fact that there is a huge gap between claims and reality. I’ll take the 32 billion in savings they can provide documentation for. The rest is just hot air until you can prove it. Trump claims he’s already made 200 deals. None have been made public. His own people cannot explain how or why he makes that claim. There’s a lot of talk but little proof. I’ll reserve judgement. Perhaps it’s all eventually is proven true. Good for him if so. Otherwise, talk is cheap.

  6. You mock a person actually engaged in trying to stop the flow of fentanyl into this country, and then block the response of someone pointing out that your side is more concerned with hurting the fentanyl dealers feelings by being designated terrorists. Got it.

    • Block what?

Yes. I mock the full of shit. If the local sanitation officer claimed to have collected 59 trillion tons of trash this morning that would have otherwise fell on and crushed every local elementary school, killing all inside so you must praise my heroism, that would be worthy of mockery.

      Still appreciate regular trash service.

That you feel it necessary to defend the indefensible with whatever that is demonstrates the point:

There are Americans comfortable in a post-truth world who would not resent living in Pyongyang, but would in fact find comfort in it.

As far as fentanyl, it wouldn’t be an issue if we weren’t stupid enough to try to keep people from using heroin.

We tried it with booze and made a bunch of gangsters rich. We now make cartel leaders billionaires.

If heroin were legal or decriminalized there would be no fentanyl.

      • The folks who say you can’t ban certain firearms because bad people are still going to get their hand on them are the same folks who say you have to ban drugs so people won’t do them.

        • I just want an nuclear tipped icbm in my backyard but the gubmit says I can’t!

          But muh freedumb!!

      • Welcome to this week’s episode of “The Boy Who Cried Trump” where our host uses discredited sources that push obvious bullshit stories which are routinely proven false within 24 hours.
Let’s take a look at 2 recent “news” stories that were reported over the weekend by a couple of our host’s favorite outlets that pertain to fentanyl and human trafficking.
First up is CNN with this piece of objective journalism:
        https://twitter.com/i/status/1919072952122831107
Yes, that’s CNN asking a Mexican fentanyl dealer if his fee fees are hurt by being labeled a terrorists by the Bad Orange Man. Please stay for his surprise answer.
Next you get that paragon of truth telling AP with this fucking gem:
        https://apnews.com/article/migration-darien-gap-trump-panama-colombia-ba393b4cf8caecdcf24556f7f84be508
We are actually supposed to feel bad for closing the border because the poor Panamanians who were getting rich smuggling people through the Darien Gap are losing business and may have to close down. Trump has DEVASTATED the local economy there.
One side is actively closing the border and doing everything possible to stop the flow of people and drugs into this country, while the other side mocks that attempt while supporting a party that threw open the doors while they were in power and told anyone and everyone to COME ON IN! The fact that your “news” sources are trying to get us to sympathize with drug smugglers and human traffickers should be the object of your mockery.

      • “As far as fentanyl, it wouldn’t be an issue if we weren’t stupid enough to try to keep people from using heroin.”

Heroin being legal would probably just spread the same deaths and crimes from Oxy and Fentanyl (or any other drug around) use around. Legalize everything and rip the bad-aid off. Making something legal doesn’t create a utopia. Fine, legalize heroin but fentanyl and the related deaths and crime don’t go away. We’re probably on the same page about legalizing all drugs but that ain’t gonna change deaths of despair or crime and it’s a rather tired argument saying it will. Do it because sovereign citizens have the right to put whatever they want in their bodies. Tax it – it’s one I won’t pay like the lottery. Any crimes surrounding drugs are already illegal, anyways. Laws created because of drugs are just tyranny in disguise. Enforce the laws on the books (there’s more than enough to go around), make treatment for intoxicants/addiction mandatory and move on. Don’t complain about the cost, that’s one of the things the criminal justice system is supposed to do. Weed is basically legal and that hasn’t stopped any crime. Alcohol is legal but there’s still crime in Chicago no different than during Prohibition (leave it to all the idiots to argue over the stats about any difference over the last hunerd years, but crime exists in Chicago). Water finds its level and gangsters will still get rich some other way. Using gangsters getting rich or combating stupidity as reasons to oppress people or excuse away vice seems an odd way to cope.

        • Legalization or decriminalization has the benefit of punishing the users, not rewarding the criminals and leaves the rest of our wallets far less burdened.

          Personally, I’ll take that deal.

Lucky Luciano never dreamed of making the money he made during prohibition. Nothing is a panacea. There are things better than stepping in your dick though if you stop stepping on your dick it won’t cure cancer and you won’t live forever.

But all in all life is better when your not stepping on your own dick. Not perfect. Just better.

  7. Was hoping this would be today’s topic. Unconscionable gaslighting. Why? So unnecessary yet it doesn’t lead to us falling into a fascist regime. Our country and system is stronger than that. We could go through every President in our lifetime starting with JFK and point to horrendous behavior, traits and policies. Sadly, we’re focused on nonsense and not the real policy issues. There is a major tax bill going through Congress…anyone even aware? A new war is starting in Asia. Real issues we, the People, need to address. If those of you diehard dems want to pretend you haven’t been Gaslighting America, I’ll remind you of Biden’s “fitness”, Al Gore’s end of the world by 2010, Obama’s lowering of medical care…the list is endless. Both sides throwing so many stones there is nothing but broken glass everywhere. This is not what-aboutism, it’s a statement that We the People are failing each other with permitting our elected officials to behave without ethics, morals or conscience. Hopefully our youth is watching, learning and will strive to do so much better.

    • I can buy that decades of the political establishment’s lack of transparency and disingenuousness led us here. I won’t accept that what we have currently isn’t a marked deviation from normalcy.

I just don’t know if its just to sate a particularly narcissistic individual on a temporary basis or represents a trend exponential mendacity among political elites that will endure beyond. The greater the market for suckers the greater the rush to capture their attention. I do fear that we’re being set up for some plan to extend power beyond january 2029, no matter what.

It is going to be very interesting to see how the tax/spending/tariff policies and eventually the debt ceiling all shake out. I’m not optimistic, but I am interested. My guess is that the rich get richer, again and that when it all comes crashing down us regular folks will be asked to sacrifice and pick up the tab, again.

    • I believe both parties are equally feckless of late. Ever since the Clinton administration both Democrats and Republicans seem to believe their primary duty to the American people is demagoguery. Our most recent Congress was one of the least effective in the history of the country. Think about that. They accomplished less work than almost every Congress in history. Both sides will point the finger at the other but both are equally complicit. Our forefathers intentionally created a system of government that REQUIRES COMPROMISE. That’s right, compromise is the point. Yet both parties see compromise as capitulation, loss, surrender and submission. In fact, compromise is GOVERNING. The fact that there is little to no compromise in national politics today explains why there is so little governing actually happening.

      • Both sides are NOT equally uncompromising and both sides do NOT insist upon universal fealty.

Look what happens to republicans who challenge trump. Same can’t be said the other way around.

And while WMD’s in Iraq was at a minimum reckless, it was not of the same nature and quality of what we have here.

If it comforts you to say that “i did not sleep with that woman” is the same as:

Saying 3 different ludicrous numbers of lives saved about the same topic in a week

        or

        the election was rigged!!

        or

January sixers are antifa but also hostages depending upon the breeze and on and on and on and on I would simply say that proportionality matters. It just does.

You don’t have to be Jesus to criticize a tyrant. You just don’t.

You don’t look at someone crying while touring Auschwitz and say:

        “Yeah like you’re so perfect!”

Its a point of view you are welcome to have but I find it somewhere between lazy and vapid.

        • I agree the Democrats do not insist on universal fealty. They’re pretty much incapable of reaching a consensus opinion. I said both parties are feckless. Feckless means weak, ineffective, worthless and irresponsible. Neither party wants to do the job they were elected to do. That was the point of my post. I wasn’t speaking to any specific events, just making a general observation about their general inability to even attempt to craft and pass legislation for the good of the American people.

          • If you think any political party trying to get 50% plus one of the votes can afford to be “pure” you are lying to yourself.

            The question for me is:

who is most willing and able to do most harm to the country?

  8. Derek,
Hate to break up your little circle jerk with the late night talk show hosts but at least now we know where you get your “intel”… but heres a letter from multiple AG’s throughout the US concerned that Fentanol could and has been used as a WMD it was adressed to the White House in 2021 (to be fair, we know Biden didn’t read it. By now even you know he just sat in the corner and shat himself all day”).

“Enough fentanyl has been seized in the last year to kill every man, woman, and child in the United States several times over.”
“In addition to different government agencies looking at fentanyl
related scenarios, fentanyl has already been used as a weapon—the Russian army used it to end a hostage crisis two decades ago, killing more than 120 hostages in the process.

And no I still don’t give a shit what your opinion is. You come on here weekly as if you believe that you serve some purpose. That by trolling the Great Fans of Senator Blutarsky you have some meaning to your miserable life.
I know who you are and what you are doing…I’ve seen a few guys like you around… better to aggrevate the shit out of somebody than not to have anybody to talk to. This is the only platform left where you seem to have convinced yourself that you still serve any purpose. I’m sure whatever friends and family you had are long since gone. Just you, your worn out copy of Sol Alinsky “Rules for Radicals” and an old set of Birkinstocks are all thats left in your miserable life. It’s sad really, poisoned by the religion of communism and hate. Maybe a cat or two…dogs got more pride than to hang around under any porch you built.

    • I got it from Pam Bondi’s fucking voice on tape.

If the National Enquirer posts a video of your wife banging your boss are you applying for a divorce or snickering about the National Enquirer’s cred?

    • Plot twist: Derek is a crazy cat lady. I think it wants us to call it sir though.

    • Why would you believe my reportage?

Consistency isn’t a valued commodity among you all is it?

      • Nobody believes you… or gives a shit what you think.
I think we are all consistant in that…
(aside from pudlite and a couple of these mouth breathers on here
(looking at you Pauline/Previously Paul and Grafter (great name for a liberal)

          • A big Fuck You…I don’t give a shit about what you think about Pam Bondi or Trump or whatever crisis dujour some late night loser told you to get mad about…and I’m sure I’m not the only one on this board that is on to your futile efforts to pretend relevence. Go out on the street, yell at the clouds pretend somebody cares what the fuck you are dribbling….

  9. Let’s see now, after the total meltdown over the “due process” of Maryland Dad Kilmore Amigos Garcia a few weeks ago, we now know:

    1. The IIRIRA of 1997, passed by Congress and upheld by the courts, grants total discretionary authority to the Executive Branch to expedite the deportation of any illegal alien that is detained or arrested, within 24 hrs, and without any “due process”;
    2. Maryland Dad was also a wife beater, such that his “loving wife” filed numerous complaints and sought legal protection for herself and her children.
    3. He was stopped in TN by the THP in 2022 with 8 illegal aliens (who all gave Dad’s address as their home address) in a van that was registered to another illegal alien that had been previously deported for …..wait for it……human trafficking!! When THP contacted the FBI about their suspicions, they were told by Biden’s FBI to stand down and let him go. You can even find police bodycam footage of the traffic stop online.

You guys were real quick to jump in and defend this scumbag’s due process. Must have been a bitch to find out he doesn’t qualify. So we move on to the next Democrat/liberal/progressive outrage. Problem is, those outrages are starting to have a seriously short shelf life.

    • Which is why the supreme court said 9-0 the opposite of what you copied and pasted off from 4chan.

      • No one mentioned the Alien Enemies Act. Might want to actually read those court docs and the stated legislation before commenting on them….or continue taking the word of confirmed liars. Your choice.

        • If you write something that “Derek” doesn’t have a snappy comeback to, he goes silent(like most liberals) as in when he posted a few weeks ago about segregation in the south and I reminded him that the Democrats were in charge then.

          • You mean “conservatives.”

Liberals were in the abolitionist movement. Conservatives started a war to protect their property and “way of life.”

The Democratic Republic of North Korea is neither. People with functioning cerebrums get that.

For example rather than breaking it into groups and time for your convenience why don’t we just say that pledging allegiance to the flag is wrong because the constitution embraced slavery. So it sullies not a party in 1861, but an entire nation in 1792.

You could say that, but it would be idiotic. Political parties have come and gone and have morphed.

The south is not solidly republican because it decided to embrace racial integration. Its red because republicans decided to make southerners feel good about being segregationists. So the dixiecrats who hung the confederate battle flag on state houses after Brown, are now all run by republicans.

          • Democrats claim there was a party switch but Im confused on when it happened. I guess it was after Lincoln freed the slaves, definitely after MLK, and most likely after Biden’s gratuitous use of the N word. I just dont know when.

  10. Disingenuous -not candid or sincere, typically by pretending that one knows less about something than one really does.
At the weekly tongue slathering referenced by Pam Bondi’s declaration that the Donald had saved “two hundred million lives” by asking the border patrol to do their jobs, we also learn from SOD Hegseth that the military is filled to the brimming with enlistments. What he failed to mention, or perhaps didn’t know, was that the uptick was due to a rise in female enlistments.
Keep in mind this is the same SOD that is ending the Defense Department’s Women, Peace and Security program instituted by the Donald with the support of “I can run all the positions of the cabinet,” Little “small hands” Marco. Does the left hand know what the right hand is doing, and if asked, would the hand reply truthfully to his mirror image appendage? Has the SOD determined that women are too physically weak to manage the controls of a drone or push a launch button? Is having women in the bunker just too distracting for these young, lean, and mean fighting machines that Hegseth is trying to fill the ranks with? Apparently, it is for him. Maybe we’re just dealing with a lot of projection, or that his belief system believes that women shouldn’t be in the military because they’re better suited for being baby factories, or something. Anyway the SOD title seems to fit the man.
More disturbing militarily speaking, is in all of this “we saved a trillion dollars” while downloading all of the databases for who knows what purpose, but you can bet it’s not to make us more prosperous, is the cuts to the VA and the services that support the VA. Just rhetorically, but if I save a billion dollars by cutting off the call center at the VA, or Social Security, have I really helped America? Yeah, I’ve saved the money from the salaries of the CSRs, but more importantly I’ve saved the cost of the claims that they would have facilitated. Do these cuts best serve America? Does slashing food programs to the poor strengthen our military when the school lunch program was instituted because so many potential enlistees were discarded as 4F for being malnourished in WWII? The philosophies of the DOD and his “manly men”, and the DOGE “anybody in a wheelchair can toggle a joystick”, seem to be juxtaposed.
Most importantly, the cuts to the military, who on the one hand are revered and desired for their ability to provide a boost of testosterone to a delusional birthday boy, don’t address the needs of those who have come back from the military in need of help. No one comes home from war unchanged. If they go to foreign lands to “protect American interests,” those same “interests” should have their back when they return. Particularly those “interests” whose lack of service goes back three generations.

    • You actually think they are cutting “benefits” at the VA instead of graft, corruption and social engineering? Of course you do, your sources for info tell you so. And you never question that info cause they would never ever in a million years lie to you. Fucking tiresome watching supposedly grown ass men believe every fairy tale they read/hear/see. Surprised you didn’t include that “suckers and losers” chestnut in your dissertation.

      • Look at all the not indictments!!

        Of course they found corruption!

      • They havent cut my benefits. Also the union guys that drank on the job got fired. Im ok with that. Derek wouldnt know, hes never served or done anything.

          • Try actually putting your life in danger for this place then we can talk.

        • Is it your sincerely held and intellectually consistent views that led you to voting for fake bone spurs guy three times?

Why don’t you seek to resolve the grosses case of patent cranialrectosis I’ve ever seen and then we can talk?

    • But of course all those liberal “employees” at the VA have our best interests at heart right? How long have we been told that the VA is a total fuckup? huh? 40 years?

      • Why do “I” randomly “use” “quot”ation m”a”rks”?”

  11. Anonymous if you are so proud of your opinions why not own them. I rarely comment on the playpen but the name calling is beneath the Senator’s legacy. Discuss politics all you want but do it with intelligence.

    • lol…..are you talking about the “intelligence” it takes to believe every post from Anonymous is from the same person? I can’t speak for the others, but the 3 posts I have made here today as Anonymous were for good reasons that will remain my own. But it’s always easier for bleeding hearts to kill the messenger than address the message.

      • Just saw this since the posts were spouting the same opinions it would be natural to assume they are from the same person. Insult me if you want but at least I have the courage to post what I do and not hide under anonymous.

    • Debby, if you don’t like the name calling, please stay off the “playpen”, I’ll been referred to as a “nazi” by these clowns far too often that I don’t need a (probably) liberal woman to tell me what to do. Thank you

      • Gee, it is funny how you claim that I have to be liberal to be offended by the name calling. I have been a registered Republican since I was 18. I have always been a moderate. The fact that what was meant as a place to discuss ideas about politics to avoid it coming up in the football part of the blog has turned into a place that most who are Republicans but actually Trump followers revert to middle school playground behavior. I don’t know which anonymous you are so I don’t know what you posted that caused that name to be applied to you. Having all the anonymous commenters posting so you don’t know who is saying what makes discourse really impossible. I don’t post in the playpen much because of the juvenile name calling.

    • Miss Debby, If I might suggest…You shouldn’t be in the Playpen. And you dam sure shouldn’t be in the Playpen agreeing with Derek and these other communist sympathizers just because it sounds familiar to what you heard on the View. I’ve held back on you in reverence to the late great Ranger Russ and the high pedistal he kept you on. But you will get your feelings hurt and then I would feel bad. Lets not let that happen…Have a good day…

      • Just saw this. I don’t watch The View. Very patronizing of you to decide how I get my news.

  12. Not sure why liberals have a hard time believing the other side. I always trusted Biden. No lies told here.

  13. Proven liars with their own agenda, but because they now nominally “work for” Trump, that reflects on him. Got some really really bad news for you if that’s the metric we going by. Please review the 12 years under Obama and Biden and be sure to have your smelling salts and feinting couch ready.
