    • Congress and the president are free to rescind all funding to public/private universities based on the concerns you expressed. That, however, is not today’s subject. Changing the subject to something else will not gloss over what is actually happening. If Harvard bent the knee, then they would get the money.

    I do not think Derek actually believes there is a rational argument to be made against consequences for an institution that accepts government funding then blatantly violates the Title VI protections mandated to its Jewish students. His faulty premise is based on the dindoonuffin denials of the accused (Harvard), and 2 extremely biased and incomplete pieces of yellow journalism from the BBC and ABC News. The political bias and total lack of any journalistic standards for the BBC and ABC are well documented, and in the case of ABC, has been somewhat expensive with 7 figure settlement checks flying out the door for provably telling lies. If you care to look it up, the video footage of the assaults on Jewish students, the class disruptions, and the destruction of property by the Hamas supporters at Harvard is readily available. There ARE serious public obligations owed by any institution of higher learning that accepts government funding; Harvard appears to want to find this out the hard way. The institutionalized discrimination hiding behind "DEI" policies and the outright ignoring of equal protection rights to ALL it's students is obvious to anyone with more than 2 functioning brain cells, but Derek wants us to think he believes Harvard is actually in the right here, Orange Man Bad, and this topic is worthy of some serious introspection and discussion? *cough* Bullshit *cough*

    This isn't about a "discussion", this is about driving traffic to a website. Look at the average replies to all the other posts here at GTPR, then look at the average replies to the Pigpen articles. Sure, a lot of the posters are posting multiple times per article, so those aren't unique individuals. But it puts eyes on the page and that is what this is really about. That is why these topics are so outrageously partisan; they are designed to get people in here fighting. Derek KNOWS they are bullshit to start with, but by posting them and then defending them, he keeps the argument going. Almost every single Pigpen topic so far has been some biased version of ORANGE MAN BAD. And every one of those have been completely destroyed when the actual facts immerged, most within 24 hours (see recent topics of Garcia deportation and tariff impositions).

    Its been obvious since forever that Derek is a committed leftist and pretends to believe all the outrageous shit his leftists information sources tell him. But he never struck me as stupid enough to keep giving credence to individuals or institutions that constantly engage in lies and distortion. I think he really really WANTS this shit to be true, but knows in his heart that its all leftist fantasy. So he continues to post garbage topics based on false premises sourced to biased articles from discredited media. Since this is a never ending mobius strip of circle jerk liberal logic, I will no longer be participating in the Pigpen therapy sessions.   12. Money is given to support research and scholarship. The results benefit not only Americans but, in many cases, the world. Multiple institutions compete for the funds. The government makes the determination where grants are allocated. Cutting off the spigot is what my Dad would call cutting off your nose to spite your face. Other universities may not be able to replicate what is being done at Harvard. They haven’t the faculty, students or facilities. I say go Harvard. Stand up for your rights and principles. If society suffers as a result, well that’s what they voted for.

    In the United States even convicted criminals have rights. Pam Bondi might want to actually read the Constitution at some point. It is not legal to send them to prison in another country.
