So, I posted earlier this morning about Dane Key supposedly committing to UGA, which was based on some late night chatter and what really really looked like Key’s Twix account. Well, it wasn’t, and apparently even Kirby fell for it.

While I’m sure Kirby doesn’t have time to manage a Twix account and one of his staffers mans it, it’s still an honest mistake.

Apologies, scamps. Didn’t mean to mislead anyone.
“If your mother says she loves you, check it out.”
I feel like Alan Judd. Need a journalistic cleansing.
“Nobody loves me, but my mother and she could be jivin’ too”….
I’m sick of the Transfer portal opening prior to the CFP games. So stupid! Must have been the NCAA’s idea. Just move it to after the Spring semester (and spring games) so that we stop this madness! Plus the players would have a better idea of their status on their current team and if they really want to transfer out.
Given the current climate of college football, the only true fact check is when you see them in a uniform on the practice field, at the local bank cashing an nil check or in team meetings or all the above….nobody knows for sure any more….
It’s the world we live in. I work for a fiduciary and we have been forced into rigorous training regimes to spot fake information, accounts, deep fakes, etc. Very overwhelming.
Unrelated to this particular issue but we’re watching the downfall of the world’s greatest sport continue to pick up steam.
I think it’s dead already. We’re just all watching the corpse bloat and listening to all the pundits talk about “expansion”.
