  1. Apparently that disappointed Tennessee hillbilly that wrote the article just wanted to mention that Kirby has had over 2 dozen players arrested over the past “few years”. I’m sure Chip approves of her message.

  2. If you are looking for stupid questions, Chip Towers never disappoints.

  3. I think Kirby missed an opportunity to mess with Chip here. What he could have said:
” I’m glad you asked that question, Chip. Like all things football we take the selection of game day visors very seriously. We source the production of them from a couple of different places where the dark arts are practiced. Several are chosen on game day for consideration. We have a shaman on staff that picks up each to select two visors that have the most juju to bring the team good luck in the game. The shaman isn’t always right the first time. Sometimes I have to change visors for the second half, but overall it’s been a good system.”

    • Hell, Kirby’s got a damn big game Saturday and he knows it. Bullshit questions like that on a week like this deserves that answer. Can you imagine what Saban would have said, I can, Kirby just said it, but less.

  4. Chip Towers is a big reason why these coaching staffs hate talking to the media.

    • CKS can be one entertaining mofo at these pressers…”I’ve told you 100,000 times. Ya’ll can ask me that question everyday.” (WR depth)….”I don’t waste a lot of energy on things like that” (visor selection)…”but every minute you spend worrying about that, is one less that I’m worried about our team”…(cfp rankings)…Ya gotta’ love this guy…GO DAWGS!!

  5. Fuck Chip Towers. EVERY time he asks a question, Kirby looks at him like, “How can I strangle this MF and get away with it?”
