Good morning! 5 more days. It’s game week. The Dawgs will be kicking off the 2024 season this Saturday, in the Benz, at noon, against Clemson. This week will be filled with predictions, prognostications and prophesies! I’ll go ahead and make one. Dabo will be sad late Saturday afternoon.
I waited 41 years for THE moment. Damn, was it good.

My son and his family will be at the game Saturday. Wish I could be there. Kirby is out to make a statement against a ranked team and set the tone for the season. #11 catching the long ball, #0 running wild up the middle, Etienne giving them fits. Defense teeing off on their QB. Sounds like a Safari to bag a Tiger. GO DAWGS!!!!!!!

This is the one I was hoping Otis would put up to be voted on but never did. I think this photo at least deserves a vote in the banner competition.
I think I’ll spend the next fee minuted watching the fan reaction video and reliving that glorious moment.
First time I’ve seen this picture of THE Interception, man Kirby got some good air on that one.
If I hadn’t seen it live, I would’ve thought they had photoshopped it. The “old” man still has some serious hops in those legs.
I was there to see it live too. When I later watched it on TV Herbstreit made the comment on how much air Kirby got.
