    • Separating a family is cruel. So is deporting a child suffering from cancer. I wonder what kind of a threat the mothers posed to the US. I guess they could have gotten jobs as maids or maybe worked in chicken plant, and some Americans might want those jobs even though few Americans seem to want to work as a live hanger in a chicken plant.

Have you heard about the family who moved from Baltimore to OKC and the mother and daughter were forced to stand outside on their nightclothes in the rain while ICE, Homeland and the FBI ransacked their home and confiscated their property with a warrant that had the address but not their names. They did not stop when they were told they had the wrong people. They don’t even k ow who has their property. They had ID proving they their identities.

Not surprising from the same folks who endorse the Nazi-adjacent anti-Semitism on display on college campuses today. Murder is ingrained in leftist DNA; its their preferred way of dealing with non-compliant folks. In Derek’s world there is no difference in 20 million UNVETTED illegals being disbursed to parts unknown within the US by the previous administration, and asylum being given to a few thousand South Africans who are on a short list to extermination in their home country. I guess his logic is if you oppose one, you must oppose the other. More Derek insanity disguised as some sort of moral equivalence.

    The poor cancer victim was VOLUNTARILY taken by their mother when the MOTHER was deported, after years of Mom exhausting her “due process”. This is great for Derek, because if she had left the child behind, he could have (and would have) ranted about “separating families”. The child retained it’s US citizenship and can return at any time to live here with family (father maybe?). Or perhaps there are no oncologists in Mom’s home country and Orange Hitler just wants the kid to die! This “news” is only an issue to morons.

    The political climate has shifted immensely in the last 20 years, and it appears to have left Derek and his peter puffers behind. Democrat/Republican, liberal/conservative, leftwing/rightwing are no longer applicable to describe the choices of American voters. I don’t consider myself Republican (never donated a penny to them or joined their “party”). I am not trying to “conserve” anything but the Constitutional foundation of this country, so conservative doesn’t apply either. If you know anything about actual civics, you know that left and right has always been a false narrative. The “left” and “right” are both closer to tyranny than the form of representative republic envisioned by our founders. The current political distinction is between the sane people who want to preserve the founding ethos of this country for themselves and their descendants, and the insane idiots who are actively trying to destroy this country by flooding it with non-citizens, destroying the energy infrastructure that provides our standard of living by pimping the green energy – climate change scam, and accumulating unsustainable debt with massive government spending (36 trillion and counting). The illegals have to be returned to their country of origin (we can’t afford them), the climate hoax must be dismissed as the fantasy it is (see Iberian Peninsula Monday) and government spending must be curtailed drastically (the fiscal cliff is in sight). Each one of those actions are necessary if we are to remain a free and viable country, but Derek and his choir boys fight any attempt to address the problems by the current administration because Orange Man must be opposed at at all costs. The bill for this insanity is coming due quickly and I see absolutely nothing being proposed by Derek and his peeps to address it. All they have is a visceral hatred of all things Trump. We will shortly find out what that’s worth.

It’s not left or right, conservative, or liberal, it’s have and have not. It is class warfare, and one side is not only winning “biggly” they are pummeling the rest of us.
    Badges? We don’t need no stinking badges comes to mind. I’m torn between a drama and a comedy for the illustration. Do we exploit the classism of scenes from Downton Abbey with the staff kept conveniently out of sight (invisible) while the hardest part of the day for the gentry is dealing with the accent of the Scottish land’s keeper or the Irish driver? The driver, BTW, who is probably an insurrectionist because the Irish have been trying to regain their freedom forever. “Better keep an eye on that one, but the cook is probably okay.” Ah, the trials and tribulations of the elites.
    I actually landed on something everyone has seen, “Caddyshack.” Imagine if you will the Donald in the role of the Judge who constantly wins his club championship by hook or crook. Imagine dinners served by white folk while the Black people labor out of site. Imagine Emma Wasserman leaning over to the Donald during dinner complaining that her granddaughter Bitsy has stopped going to class because of all of the hijabs she sees in the student union. “Donald, Bitsy just doesn’t feel safe, you’ve got to do something It feels so antisemitic.” The Donald casually scrolls the Mar-A-Lago donor list on his phone before patting Emma’s hand warmly and assuring her it will be handled. The next day sanctions are levied against Columbia University and the first amendment is suspended because “Bitsy didn’t feel comfortable.” Meanwhile, Bitsy, who has moved in with a jazz saxophone player in Harlem is unaware that her graduation is threatened because her grandmother belonged to the same club as a racist.

      Who has? Who controls? By what means is that power maintained? How do those who have, keep their resources away from the so-called unwashed and undeserved?

      Capitalism and democracy are the best constructs yet devised but they are not perfect and they are only as enduring as they are secured. Once lost, they will take a millennia or more to regain.

      Choose free markets. Choose due process. Choose freedom. Be skeptical of anyone who offers you a better deal than those OR suggests that prizes will await those who forfeit them.

    There’s an old saying: “You don’t act like who you think you are; you act like who you think others believe you to be.” Lately, I’ve wondered if maybe you’ve started believing people expect you to be a bitter, toxic asshole, so you deliver exactly that.

    Week after week, you show up here where people gather to enjoy a little fellowship over something they love —The Dawgs and all things Georgia football — only to piss on it with your low IQ political jabs, whatever crisis du’jour the mainstream propaganda tells you should be outraged by, and whatever worn-out rhetoric CNN has brainwashed you people with. Not because it adds value, but because, I suspect, it fills a silence in your own life. And that’s not me being cruel — that’s just an observation from someone who’s seen a few folks walk that road.

    Truth is, I don’t mind disagreement. I welcome it. But there’s a difference between healthy discourse and being an insufferable asshole to everybody just to feel heard. You (and maybe even pudlite) should have enough sense to know that.

    You might be surprised to know that a lot of people, especially around these parts, still love this country and what it’s built on. They love their families, their faith, their flag — and Hell yea, many people still love Donald J. Trump. They may not say it on CNN, MSNBC or the networks you trust, but it’s there. Not because they’re blind, but because they’re ready for someone who speaks plainly and hopefully about the people in this country.

    So if you’re going to stay in the conversation, bring something to the table besides trolling with bitterness, sarcasm and spite. We’re all worn a little thin these days. If you’ve still got fire in your belly, use it to build, not burn.
