  1. Yeah, this ain’t your daddy’s WH. They’ll close now. Hell the one down the street from my former job (recently retired) would close at odd times for “grill cleanup” and such. Not sure where people go to get their late night/early morning munchie fix these days. In Gwinnett, we’re getting a lot of rain and wintry mix in the ‘ville some ice on the trees….I expect we’ll hear about trees hitting the deck between now and the AM. Don’t envy those having to navigate a Monday morning commute. Everybody be careful!

  2. Soft!
Our Waffle House here in town (TX) has stayed open throughout. Currently 15 degrees and 4-5″ of sleet on the roads!

  3. It is not good in the Upstate SC. Lots and lots of ice. We have power so far but it is sleeting and freezing rain hard right now.

  4. It is 71° at 7:30 pm on Sunday night here in Monticello Fl. It is going to a frigid 42° tonight . We are praying to survive this cold weather gauntlet.

  5. I mean it’s winter time. Winter time things are happening. People freak out over everything anymore. Schools cancel when it rains hard now.

  6. Appears I don’t need my snowblower in ski country this season. Will rent for cheap!

  7. Interesting … must be a staffing issue. I am pretty sure they run gas grills for cooking.

It looks to me that Georgia was spared the brunt of this since parts of NC and VA got 6-9 inches of snow.
