Shine On You Crazy Diamond Dawgs: Georgia Plays for the SEC Tournament Championship

Down 6-0, the Diamond Dawgs did what apparently few others have ever done in SEC Tournament Play, which was to come back from a deficit like that to win a game.

There were two rain delays yesterday, the first coming with the Georgia-Florida tilt and another coming during the Auburn-Arkansas semifinal. Arkansas prevailed over Auburn’s arms to win 2-1, so it’ll Dawgs versus Hogs today in Hoover at 2 pm for all the marbles.

Go Dawgs…let’s close it out by winning the regular season and the tournament championship for the SEC.

    • Nope. UCLA and Tech are locked in as the 1 and 2 overall seeds. I’d rather not be the #1 overall anyway. It seems to put too much pressure on that team.

If Georgia is the 3 seed then the current projection would be UGA hosting Kansas in the Super Regional should both teams win their Regional.

  1. As they were coming back from the rain delay with the Gators up 7-4, the dumbasses in studio were all saying that Florida would easily hold the lead and advance. FTMF.

    • They also said later the rain delay hurt gators because they were on a roll. Plus it gave us time to regroup. Talking heads are such dumdasses. Just had to mute broadcast.

  2. Dawgs beat gators. Sound familiar? Just like football!!! 🏈🏈🏈🏈⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️
