  1. Off the top of my head? 1,2,and 4. I like UGA at 5, but with a new QB and an old Inner Munson I also think 9 would be ok. 13 and 15, I have no idea who 11 is.

    • I kinda wish weren’t getting this much pre-season love. I’d rather see us start the season in the 11-15 range. Kirby would get to play the disrespect card and Roquan can come back and tell the team that everyone thinks they’ll go 7-5. Also, it might make the Gumps and Ribeyes and Hillbillies overconfident when they play us.

  3. South Carolina and Florida are both ranked too high, as I think they’re both going to have disappointing seasons. And one of those teams will have a new coach next year — if not an acting/interim coach for the last three or four games.

  8. I think the Gamecocks are overrated. Sellers is really good, but he he lost a lot around him on offense and the defense is going to take a step back. I see 8-4 or 7-5 on the horizon for them.

  9. I was so pissed when we “lost” that 2013 game to a Franklin-coached Vandy team that helped propel him to the PSU job and escape the Vandy rape scandal. We gave up 17 unanswered points in the 4th quarter while gaining only 4 yards on offense. Combine that with the horrible officiating, it was a total shitshow.

  11. Penn State, Clemson, Florida, SMU. I can’t see SMU sneaking up on anybody.

    Yes Franklin is way overrated.

  12. Clemson at 4? Really? We beat them 34-3 to start the season last year, and they lost to South Carolina their last regular season game. Sure, good returning QB but #4?

  14. Franklin is a slightly better version of Butch Jones. As one of my acquaintances used to say about Rex Ryan, “That MF talks a lot, he’s got plans and he’s good in front of a camera, but he ain’t ever won shit.” With his 2 or 3 game schedule, he’s in good shape to go 9-3 by beating the stiffs. Against Ohio St or Michigan? He might as well bring a bunch of Amish kids to a knife fight with some residents of Detroit. FTMF, I hope they bounce his ass all the way to someplace like East TN State.
